Ringo Starr was a former drummer for the Beatles as well as narrator for Thomas the Tank Engine during the first two seasons. During the public outcry after the Thomas incident, Ringo spoke to the public of the events that happened before and after the incident. During the interview, he asked to remain anonymous, and so was only known in the program as an "anonymous whistleblower".
